If I use HydroPlatform, does my model or data become open-source?


No, if your model can run independently from HydroPlatform, it's an independent program and is not affected by HydroPlatform's license.  You can distribute your model under whatever licensing scheme you wish; it must not be open-source.  Data input into HydroPlatform is private and must not be shared.
