These models are currently supported by HydroPlatform. Eventually users will be able to submit their own models here.
IRAS-2010 (open-source)
IRAS-2010 [pdf] is a generalized open-source water resource system simulation program. The fast simulator is ideal for climate change adaptation studies (which require many runs) or for use in interactive workshops. Code and example model accessible here.
AquaPlan (commercial)
AquaPlan is a generalized hydro-economic optimization model designed to analyse trade-offs between hydro-power and other water uses. It uses an SDDP engine and is built in Matlab. Please contact Amaury Tilmant for further information.
BETA Models (not yet peer-reviewed):
Hydro-econ template (open-source)
Hydro-econ is a simplified hydro-economic model template meant to show users how to link GAMS models to HydroPlatform. Download here once logged in.
SDWP - Supply-Demand Water Planning (open-source)
A simple capacity expansion optimization model that finds the least cost (capital, operating, social, environmental) schedule of annual supply & demand management investments to ensure supply > demand over the planning horizon. Code and example model.
